So, Niina brought me a game so I could play it, to fill the void that Assassin’s Creed has left in my heart. .. the game was Resident Evil 4 and I’m shitting dicks here while I’m playing it.

But I’m sure, that once I get used to the game I will start shitting normal poo instead of dicks.

About childhood and games

I’ve always loved to play games, be it video game or board game. When I was 7 years old, my first video game experience was with my best friend Ira, who had a Sega Megadrive and a couple of Sonic the Hedgehog games for it, plus some Disney games.

When I heard that the first Playstation came to Finland, I wanted one soooo bad! I knew that my mother wouldn’t buy it for me, because we were poor at the time, and I was too afraid to ask my dad. So, instead, I started to collect money for it on my own! A few months later I had a little over 600 mk(roughly 120e), and I asked my dad if we could go and buy the Playstation for me. We didn’t have any gamestores where we lived, so we had to go to the nearest city that had.

When we got to the store, I was so excited!! But the price .. It was 1000 mk, so I was 300mk short. But thankfully, my stepmother said to me that they could pay the rest because I had saved for it for so long! I was so happy.

The console had a game with it; Ape Escape. It was my first PSone game. We didn’t have a memory card then, so when me and my sister played the game, we would always just leave it on pause if we had to do stuff, and mom never liked that. :’D So, she bought a memory card for me and we were on a roll!

Since we were poor and the games cost a LOT of money(for us), we decided to get my PS modified - my classmate’s father did stuff like that. For a little fee he did it, and we also bought copies of several games from him. I had all the Spyro games, Crash Bandicoot games, Tekken and several other games.

But when we moved to Tampere(I was 11), I started to notice that there was something wrong with the controller - it was broken. Or so I thought. Something, I don’t know what, happened to the console and I could never use it again. My mother then bought me a PS2 to make me feel better, but since nearly all of my games were copies, I couldn’t play them. So, she bought me Final Fantasy VIII and I loved it!! Through the years she bought me also FII, IX and X. When I got a little older I bought FF Anthology and Origins from a friend of mine.

But I still missed my old games. So, whenever I had money, I would search for the games I had as kid and buy them. So far I’ve bought Spyro 2, Spyro 3, Tekken, Tekken 2 and today I got Crash Bandicoot 2. I still have to buy Spyro 1, the first Crash Bandicoot and Crash Bandicoot 3 and Tekken 3 and then I have all of my childhood games again. :3

^My PSone games! Not much, but I love every single one of them. (Crash Bandicoot 2 is not in it, as you can see with your own eyes)

If you have some of those games I listed collecting dust, let me know and I can buy them from you. (: PAL only, that is, or is it possible to play PSone games with a PS3(since PS3 has no region-stuff-youknow)..? Idk.

Blah. Now, story time’s over! Off to draw. >

Oh I remember when I played this game a few years ago with my friend. Then I just .. stopped. Maybe I should dig it up again, I sort of miss Uchuu.
