Why does he/she want the extra rent? You haven’t lived long enough in your current apartment? … I’m pretty sure a a condition like that was made clear while you signed the contrats?… If not you do have right to complain.

1.) I’ve lived here for 2 years, and the first contract was time-limited
2.) After I started my 2nd year, I thought that it’d be valid until further notice, and if my contract is still time-limited, I certainly was not aware of it
